Headlines.
The Steubenville Baseball team finished this season with a record of 25-3. They were this years’ Sectional, District, and Regional Champs as well as Division 2 State Semi-finalists. They were the 5A OVAC champs this season.
The team was led by Anthony Zorne who was name 5A OVAC and East District player of the year as well as Honorable Mention All Ohio He was selected for the Mizuno All Star Series. Nico Petrides, Nicky Zorne and DiMitrios Collaros were selected for 1st Team East District. Nicky Zorne was selected for 2nd Team All Ohio. Anthony Zorne, DiMitrios Collaros and Devin Ferguson were selected to the OVAC All Star Team. Fred Heatherington was named East District Coach of the Year.
This year marked the 1300th victory for the Big Red Baseball Team
