The Steubenville Big Red Wrestling Team finished the 2015-16 season with a dual record of 25-2. The team was the Wheeling Park Duals Runner-up, OVAC Over-all Runner-up, OHSAA Regional Dual Champions, made it to the OHSAA State Dual Semifinals, Sectional Champions, District Runner-up and 4^th in the State of Ohio. The team had 8 OVAC Placers with Tim Young, Tariq Wilson, Jashon Hubbard and Shawn Livingston being OVAC Champions. Dakotah Goff placed 2^nd, Anthony Rice 3^rd, Tyler Ely 5^th and Drone Moore 7^th. Also had 11 District Placers with Tariq Wilson and Dakotah Goff being District Champions. The team had 6 state Qualifiers with Tim Young placing 7^th, Shawn Livingston Placing 4^th, Jashon Hubbard placing 4^th, Dakotah Goff placing 4th and Tariq Wilson placing 2^nd and being a 3x State Finalist. The wrestling team also was the OVAC 5A Dual Meet Champions for the 6^th year in a row. Dakotah Goff, Tim Albertson and Tariq WIlson were named Academic All-Ohio.
